Tackle Football (Ages 6 - 14)

 

4 Tackle Divisions:

PRACTICE: Begins MID/LATE JUNE

2 Hours a day - 10 hours max/week
2 Hours a day 3 times a week after the first game.
First game of the season September
 

8U Football Division

 Ages: 7-8
Age Cut-Off Date: July 31st
Weight: No Weight Restrictions

This is the first level established to teach our youngest tackle players (age 7-8) the basic rules, skills and playing fundamentals of our sport, with the introduction of tackling and contact.  Coaches are on the field during the game instructing and teaching.  
 

10U Football Division

 

Ages: 9-10
Age Cut-Off Date: July 31st
Weight: No Weight Restrictions

In this division competitive football is in full swing, combine with more speed and harder hitting. In this division players excel in coordination, self-confidence and the desire to compete and advance to the next level.

Different size ball from lower divisions, more skilled position players and Coaches Coach from the Sidelines

12U Football Division

 

Ages: 11-12
Age Cut-Off Date: July 31st
No Weight Restrictions

The game gets really exciting and the desire to hit comes. Players are bigger and much faster. Football squads use all of the tools they have learned in the previous division and coaching helps players fine tune these skills.

•-Speed is at a new level.
•-Coaching and team work is highly important.
•-Different size ball from lower divisions
•-More skilled position players

14U Football Division

 Ages:13-14
Age Cut-Off Date: July 31st
NO WEIGHT RESTRICTION- 

The game gets really exciting and the desire to hit comes.
Players are bigger and much faster.
Football squads use all of the tools they have learned in the previous division
Coaching helps them fine tune these skills.
Football players learn to compete a higher competition on the field
Practices and games are more serious and intense than the lower divisions

•-Speed is at a new level.
•-Coaching and team work is highly important.
•-Different size ball from lower divisions
•-More skilled position players
